The Flight Plan

Despite increasing concerns regarding air travel's impact on global warming, and increasing attempts by individuals and organisations to reduce their carbon footprint, flying remains the most convenient (and often the only practical) way of getting from one country to another, or even around the same country.

Plane speaking

AngloINFO provides information on the airports serving the region. Wherever possible there are links to real- time flight information and other useful facts.

Need to find out what airlines fly into - or out of - the region? You can get that information, in the Airlines, Scheduled Flights & Charter category of The AngloFILE, your local directory of English-speaking businesses and services.

Anyone moving around or entering the EU should be aware of the security measures and baggage restrictions. You can either refer to your airline's own website or have a look at the Airport Hand Baggage Security Rules page - although do be aware that each airport (and indeed each check- in desk) may implement these rules slightly differently.

Finally, getting to or from an airport can sometimes feel like the longest and most complicated part of the trip. But to make it easier you can refer to the INFOrmation Page on Bus Services in the Midi-Pyrenees, and see the Taxi, Shuttle, Transfers & Minibus category of The AngloFILE.
