Switching Electric Service from EDF to POWEO

We were in Darty yesterday and the saleman there suggested switchintg electric supplier from EDF to POWEO, claiming that it would save us 8% on our electrical bill. He said that the transfer would be invisible to us and that we could change back at any time as there would be no contract with POWEO. It seems to good to be true. Does anyone have any experience with POWEO?
