| General connecting TNT integrated TV to DVD has 2 pages: 1 · 2Re: connecting TNT integrated TV to DVD | 22dropout replied on 03/11/2009 at 12:41 e-mail 22dropout | | cracked it at last, but what a performance.i set up the DVD to record from AV2 at a certain time and left it on standby, then i used the tv remote to use the program timer facility and copied the exact same times as i'd put into the DVD, selected which channel, and left the tv on standby, and voila success !!! seems to be a very longwinded way of doing things, having to program both units, but it worked which is the important thing i suppose. looking forward to hearing from the manufacturer, having sent them a few mails, as to the simple solution. there's this suspicion in my mind that if the dvd had a tnt tuner integrated then it would have been simply a case of programming the dvd to record a channel from its tuner, as it is now this unit only tunes in about 5 channels properly from the aerial plus 3 or 4 scrambled hence the need for recording from av2. |
